International figureheads due at euroLED Birmingham

(UK) - The 10th annual euroLED event has secured a number of high profile industry figureheads from across Europe and the US to headline June's two day technical conference at the city's International Conference Centre.
Dedicated to the science and technology of LEDs, the majority of speakers at this year’s conference will be from the Netherlands, Germany and Italy, reflecting the global reputation for lighting innovation these countries boast.
Tom van de Buschee from Bridgelux, Paul Fleming from Mean Well, Jared Davidson from Nichia, Mark van den Berg from Philips Lumileds and Patrick van de Meulen from Xicato will make up the contingent from the Netherlands. Dr Denan Konjhodzic from Instrument Systems and Jeroen Ledema from TE Connectivity will represent Germany.
euroLED will also welcome two headline speakers from the US LED lighting market; Bob Kottritsch from Lynk Labs and Mike Grather from Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
This year's euroLED will focus on components, such as drivers, PCBs, optics and heat sinks, as well as testing competences and LED lighting products for the medical and industrial sectors. The technical conference will also explore the themes of LED systems, engines and modules, thermal management, testing and standardisation.
Representing the UK, additional speakers at the euroLED conference will include Dr Caerwyn Ash from the Dezac Group Ltd, Nick Wainwright from York EMC, Gareth Jones from LUX-TSI, and Jamie Fox from IMS Research.
The euroLED exhibition will take place at the International Conference Centre, Birmingham, between the 24th-25th of June.
