Sales Coordingator / PA
The successful applicat will work closely with the Sales Director on existing and upcoming lighting projects in a supporting role, leading to increased experience in the industry. Additionally, the role foresees the independent management of administrative tasks such as order processing, logistics and invoicing for our entire client base. Our sales team in London as well as in our hedquarters willl be in close relationship to the postion to ensure the adequate technical back-up.
 
Main responsibilities will include:
• Coordinate and support Sales and Marketing activitiies
• Managing and updating our client database

• Managing invoices and quotes
 
We are looking for a candidate with:
• Strong organisational skills

Technical Project Sales Manager
Working on projects that already have been specified, the successful applicant for this position will be in charge of keeping a close relationship with contractors and ensuring that all relevant information is passed on and managed. At a later point, he or she will also be in charge of technical support on site and closely working with electricians and insstallers on site. Our Sales Team in London as well as in our headquarters in Austria will be in close relationship to the position to ensure the adequate technical back-up.
 
• Main responisiblities will include:
• Managing our client database with Contractors and Wholsesaleers
• Identifying ongoing projects and supply all relevant information to clients
• Gathering information on ongoing proojects
• Strategically and operatively manging the client base
• On site trouble shooting and support
• Technical support to installers
 
We are looking fro a candidate with:
• An education and background in Electrical Engineering/Electrical contracting
• Ideally a background in Lighting
• Knowledge of Microsoft office and ideally an ERP system like Navision
• Understanding of UK building industry
• Confidence in dealing with clients
• Strong analystical skills

Experience

Position
We are seeking a self motivated Senior Lighting Advisor who is already established in the lighting industry and has an existing client base within the M62 corridor. You will be looking to establish a long term career within our design lead company. The job will largely consist of meeting with design professionals - selling and advising on Deltalight products for project specifications.  You will have nominated accounts and you will be confident in taking qualified leads and turning them into sales. You will also be able to enhance our existing database by actively seeking new business opportunities.  For this post, you will need good business acumen; the ability to operate at all levels; you will successfully build relationships and develop turnover. You will understand what is involved in the construction process and you will be able to track the project from the initial specification to an order and beyond.      

The Person
You will ideally have an architectural/design background and you have worked on a diverse range of projects. You are a naturally tenacious person with good communication skills, plus the ability to present ideas both visually and verbally and can work your own initiative. You have an interest and enthusiasm for the design and architecture of building and interiors, having the skills to apply lighting technology to develop the visual feel of the space. You have at least 5 years experience in the lighting industry, with a good all round product and market knowledge, knowing how the specification sale industry operates.   As well as the above, applicants must have a sound knowledge of MS Office software and it is essential that you can read architectural plans and lighting drawings.

Requirements:

  • A degree in lighting design, architecture or interior design
  • Proven experience of working in a lighting practice, architectural practice or interior design office

  • Knowledge of Rhino and/or 3D Studio Max would be an advantage
