20 November 2009 12.00 GMT
(Germany) - From the 1st December 2009, KWL-Lighting will be operating under the name feno.
For ten years, the company have successfully worked with, and for, light artists like James Turrell, designers such as Ingo Maurer and architects including Jean-Michel Willmotte on behalf of international businesses and institutions. The new corporate image is designed to underscore these achievements and the progress the company has made.
Along with a new logo and website, feno have created a new tagline - "before light and beyond" – reflecting their comprehensive approach to project development. The new name is derived from the ancient Greek word phaeno, meaning ‘to bring to the light, to visualize, to let appear’.
The new website - offering additional information about the new design and services, as well as their products and projects - goes live from 1 December.
