Tulla joins Mott MacDonald

(UK) Leading engineering company appoints Alan Tulla as architectural lighting designer.

Mott MacDonald, the leading global engineering, management and development consultancy has appointed Alan Tulla, a specialist in architectural and interior lighting, to its highways team in Southampton in the role of architectural lighting designer.

Tulla, who is the current president of the Society of Light and Lighting, brings a wealth of experience to Mott MacDonald having worked in the lighting industry for 30 years, focusing specifically on lighting design. He has previously worked in France as well as the UK and was most recently employed by Designs for Lighting Ltd, where he worked on key projects such as specialist lighting for the new Guardian headquarters, the award winning town centre redevelopment of Kettering and a village square in Hampshire, which has been shortlisted at the 2011 UK Lighting Design Awards.

Alan Tulla said, “I am delighted to join Mott MacDonald’s highways team, which already has an excellent reputation for highways lighting design. I hope I can help in bringing business to the highways team and to help them with specialist lighting issues.”
