Stuart Matthews has been appointed as Project Design Consultant for Newcastle upon Tyne based Hacel Lighting.
Matthews has worked within the lighting design industry for seven years and has five years previous experience of Electrical Engineering Consultancies. He has spent the last two years within Hacel's Lighting Design Department producing schemes for a diverse range of Architectural, Retail and Commercial projects.
His new role makes him responsible for the design of projects incorporating Hacel Energy Efficient Luminaries linked to Intelligent Lighting Control Systems with a view to maximising the Economic, Environmental and Energy related benefits for the client. Hacel are very aware of current global changes affecting us all and realise that the industry must adopt the latest technology available to improve the standard of luminaires and efficiency of lighting projects.
The incorporation of dynamic lighting controls, high performance luminaires and modular wiring systems will help achieve this and create a more efficient, cost effective and flexible end product for the client.
