ABYSS
The Abyss table and suspension lamp is designed by the German studio Osko+Deichmann based in Berlin,
The table lamp is composed of a high voltage LED strip inserted in a modular structure of injection moulded opal polycarbonate that allows infinite combinations of self supporting articulated forms that seem to freely float in space.
Through the use of a provided hook Abyss can also be hanged to the wall and moved accordingly to the new positioning.
In the hanging version a fluorescent spot placed in a white Plexiglas tube is integrated, onto which the structure is suspended.
The subliminal perception of this articulated light body evokes atmospheres of deep ocean ambience in which luminous organic entities sinuously and beamingly float into the darkness.
