The essential lines and elegance of the details in Sun Light naturally evolve in the new sunios surface mounted and track mounted projector series designed by Fabio Reggiani, which make use of the revolutionary Reggiani IOS Interchangeable Optical System technology; this system has been developed to guarantee the best spatial and time efficiency and dynamics in the available lighting solutions.
The hollowed out sides of the sunios cylindrical body housing the control gear trim it down, and an innovative mechanical friction device enables the optical compartment to open out; this compartment
comes in two different forms: cylindrical for the luminaires with IOS reflectors or rectangular for
asymmetric light. In sunIos, the advantage of excellent heat dissipation is combined with maximum flexibility in the luminaire positioning, brought about by the 90 degree vertical adjustment of the optical compartment and by the horizontal rotation of the body. This makes it possible to obtain a pleasant aesthetic effect with constantly new and different light patterns.
sunIos is an adjustable surface or track mounted projector
It comes in two basic versions: the type with symmetric light distribution (whose range also includes a version for compact fluorescent lamps with a larger conical optical compartment); and the type with asymmetric light distribution.
The track mounted configuration uses projectors with adapter for 3-circuit track and projectors with adapter for ultra low profile 1-circuit track.
The low voltage track mounted version is made for halospot lamps only.
