2LIGHT C
The 2LIGHT range has been extended by adding two new gimbal-mounted downlights - 2LIGHT C and 2LIGHT C MINI. Both types of luminaire have lamp units that can each be pivoted through 35¡ and rotated through 180¡. This highly flexible mobility allows ideal accent lighting in all retail spaces and prestigious areas such as areas for customers, reception areas, VIP boxes and conference rooms.
Nevertheless, the biggest plus point of the new 2LIGHT C downlights system is its aesthetically pleasing stylistic idiom. It is an integral, harmonious lighting solution providing an uncluttered ceiling appearance - despite the pivoting lamp units, not a single luminaire component protrudes from the ceiling. Movement is obtained exclusively inside the luminaire.
The lighting characteristic of the gimbal-mounted 2LIGHT version with a mellow downlight effect produced by reflector splitting is unmistakable: the precisely adjusted ratio of direct to indirect light provides pleasantly gentle bright light that is surprisingly lively. 2LIGHT C is fully enclosed and therefore reliably protected against soiling and splashing water - it is the first gimbal-mounted downlight system to offer protection type IP44.
Like all 2LIGHT models, the 2LIGHT C has a unique Easy-Clean catch for straightforward handling and convenient maintenance. A light-tight lock-and-release mechanism ensures timesaving installation. If required, additional colour filters can be fitted, even in front of the direct light distribution reflector in the inner part of the luminaire. The directional light component of 2LIGHT also makes it possible to create individual lighting atmospheres. The triple module also offers the possibility of producing RGB light in variable colours using three T16 fluorescent lamps.
The mini version of 2LIGHT C is extremely energy-efficient: the new HIT CDM Tm lamp achieves the same lighting intensity as a 75 W lamp. This means significantly lower energy costs and less waste heat for comparable light output - an unbeatable benefit in retail areas.
