Fluo

Designed by Arturo Álvarez, Fluo is a bold but gentle form that appears to float on the air like the seed-dispersing parachute from a dandelion head.

Its near translucent body is meant to play with our perception of size and structure; at a glance it’s not immediately apparent how the fixture has been formed. In the words of the designer, “The flair and movement of the material obtains very singular volumes, letting us to present a forceful light with a big spatial presence, but at the same time is delicate and gentle. From a flat and cold metallic mesh, we obtained a design full of volume and emotion.”
