(100% DESIGN) - A folded, creased and rolled lampshade, UNIT24 “engages light and shadow to enhance the visual depth of the shade” – so say New Zealand designers Scott Fitzsimons and Richard Hartle.

UNIT24 derives from traditional fabric pleated lampshades, exploring layering effects and translucency to create a sense of volume from its thin surface.

The shade is manufactured from two sets of alternating parts; the folded element and the curve, resulting in the complete shade with its subtle play of light. Designed in both tall and wide pendant versions and as a directional floor lamp.
