Designed by Ricard Estruch, Struk is a cloud of fireproof polyethylene mesh. The collection has been expanded to include a giant ceiling model C100 and C150 (100 and 150 cm in diameter), a suspended one-metre version, S100, and a floor and table lamp.
Struk is a handmade circular or semicircular structure comprising an inner layer of plastic mesh to diffuse the light and a second stiffer, wider layer made from scraps that have been moulded with hot air. Finally, several strips of plastic are threaded at random into the holes of the mesh.
