15-watt Micro-Brite lamp
(Lightfair 2009) The 15-watt Micro-Brite lamp from Litetronics International, Inc. leads the dimming evolution with cold cathode technology that dims to 5% of its light output without flickering.
Litetronics developed its unique CCFL with a vented cover that allows air to circulate around the lamp, while protecting the coil from damage. This allows the 15-watt Micro-Brite to rapidly reach and maintain maximum light output of 750 lumens during its 18,000-hour life. Used to replace a 60-watt incandescent lamp, the 15-watt CCFL saves up to 75% on energy, and its long life saves maintenance costs.
