Launched at Light + Building, GE Lighting’s LED GLS Lamp consumes only 9 Watts of power and provides a true 360 degrees of light output mimicking a standard 40W lamp.
The LED bulb uses the Cree-XPG LED emitter to produce 450 lumens for a total of 77 percent in energy savings. External fins cradle the diffuser while performing a cooling function. The fins also keep the surface of the bulb cooler than comparable incandescent bulbs.
